Compose your own shelter at home
MB Veranda's canopies are fully tailored assembled. You can choose between a round or flat style. The characteristic posts provide a robust effect, fitted with a beautiful gutter. You have free choice between a round or flat gutter. With square posts and a flat gutter, the canopy has an even sleeker look. It is therefore entirely up to your personal taste which style you choose.
If you like to combine styles, please ask about the possibilities.
Dimensions
Would you prefer to handle the assembly yourself and not use our free dating service? Please take into account the height, width, and length of your canopy. The available passage height can be calculated based on the wall height of your home. If you opt for professional installation by MB Veranda, we will fully support you with our free measurement service.
Width
Our patio covers are delivered fully custom-made. You can, of course, also make use of our standard sizes. These start at a width of 3.06 metres and increase by one metre at a time; 4.06 metres, 5.06 metres, 6.06 metres, and so on.
Depth
MB Veranda's patio canopies are delivered fully bespoke. Naturally, you can also make use of our standard sizes: 2.5 metres, 3 metres, 3.5 metres or 4 metres deep. In fact, any depth up to four metres is possible. Shortening the depth may have some influence on the possibility of fitting sliding walls and doors. Ask our staff about the options and solutions for your patio canopy.
Height
MB Veranda always recommends a height at the bottom of the gutter of 2.10 metres, 2.15 metres, 2.20 metres, 2.25 metres, 2.30 metres or 2.35 metres. These heights relate to the fitting of sliding glass walls, which must fit exactly under the patio covering.
Number of uprights
It is precisely because of the high quality of our materials and the particularly sturdy construction of our self-produced canopies that fewer support posts are needed compared to our competitors. Our patio canopies therefore offer an unobstructed view and ample passage underneath. The number of support posts is determined by the width, depth, height, and type of your roof. You can consult the table below for this, or request advice from one of our friendly employees.
Important: The number of uprights indicated is a recommendation for the rigidity of the covers. With large canopies, there is a possibility that the gutter may sag slightly under the weight of the steel strip. However, this galvanised steel strip is necessary to give the gutter the required strength. This strip allows a load of up to 80 kg per square metre.
Colours
For the colour of your patio canopy, you can choose from black, silver-grey or anthracite. The lighting can be in warm white, cool white, or dimmable warm white. With a wide choice of colours, you can give your canopy the exact look that suits your personal preference. Stylish and aesthetic, in the combination you desire. If you are unsure, it is possible to request a sample pack from our friendly staff. You can then view which colour combination best suits your home with colour and glass samples, polycarbonate samples, and a comprehensive brochure.

Maintenance
The cleaning and maintenance of the Aluminium frame The roof panels can be cleaned with a lukewarm soapy water solution and a cloth or sponge. Make sure to use a non-degreasing soap. For your convenience and safety, we recommend using an extendable squeegee for the roof. Never use scouring agents or abrasive sponges and always rinse thoroughly with clean water afterwards.
For locations near the sea and the resulting salty air, we recommend cleaning the aluminium frame at least twice a year. In other locations, where salty air is not a factor, once a year is sufficient. Always make sure the gutter is clean and free of leaves and other debris. This way, you will prevent blockages.
Foundation
Because the foundation Because the stability of your patio roof is important, MB Veranda uses a concrete slab under the posts. The uprights are attached to this concrete slab, and cement mortar is then poured around it. This ensures that all space is filled correctly, guaranteeing a perfect fit every time. This precise fit results in an excellent, sturdy foundation for your patio roof.
Entering the roof
When you are going to the roof or gutters clean, it is of great importance not to stand or walk directly on the roofing. By placing planks with rubber mats underneath on joists, you can distribute the weight and prevent unnecessary damage.
